Open Post: Co-Hosted By Tara Reid And Her New Man
Tara Reid is probably broke and most countries have banned her out of fear that she'll swallow up most of their supply of booze and leave their citizens sober, but yet she still takes these fancy trips to St. Tropez (SPOILER ALERT: Tara's ceiling-eyed sugar daddy can't look down to see that Tara slipped his black card out of his wallet). Being a mess and butchering your tummy with a plastic surgeon's scalpel until it looks like a portrait of E.T. made of clay really does pay off. Tara the Terror spent the day on the beach in St. Tropez yesterday afternoon with her latest dude Joshua Darval. Not much is known about Josh Darval, but only because nobody cares enough to find out.
These pictures of Josh with Tara tell me that it's only a matter of time before she shaves off that blanket of fur on his torso. It's a bitch scrubbing dried vomit out of your chest rug after Tara drunkenly barfed off on you as you slept through the night. What these pictures also tell me is that this one is definitely blind. Like, for real this time.

ALSO, I picked the first ripe figs from my trees today.
Fresh figs are wonderful, and if the closest thing you've ever had is a Fig Newton, well, you're missing out.
SDR, I didn't know the Test Kitchen had a mag. I'll have to check it out. I'm a cooking junkie and I love my monthly foodie fix. I've been getting Bon Appetit, which is fun to read and most of the stuff is easy to do. I used to get Gourmet, which was pretty snooty (e.g., "Iceland's Finest Caviar") but I liked reading about all the places I couldn't afford to travel to.

Have y'all checked out the America's Test Kitchen magazine, Cooks? They don't have ads and give products honest reviews. Check it out sometime. We've been getting it 2-3 years now.

Cosign on America's Test Kitchen. I got that cookbook in college as a b-day gift. The cool thing is, it tells you WHY you have to do things a certain way....like cooking scrambled eggs on low heat as opposed to high, leaving the crockpot on for 8 hours instead of 6, and why a souffle rises and neat scientific shit like that.
The recipes are delish, too! I love the chapter on slow cooker dishes.

Definitely. They also have the only television cooking show I deign to watch (I like my food without a side of personality).
Tara cleaned up nicely for the American Pie sequel last year. She looked like she was taking it easy with the booze and coke. It looks to me that she's back to the bad stuff.

I too am a member of the thin with no waist club. I'm 5"8' with a short torso...I have a pretty athletic looking body, which is hilarious considering how lazy I am.

I made paella in a dutch oven this evening (America's Test Kitchen recipe) and it turned out wonderfully.
Alas two of my guests (my next-door neighbor's two little girls) have seafood allergies.

Lately I've noticed a lot of skinny and/or fit celebs, as well as civilian women, seem to lack a waste line. Either that or they don't have any fkn hips. My waste fluctuates from 27-28 inches, which I don't consider small, but I have hips and big ole fake bewbs so it balances out. Even Kate Upton has that square body look and she has big cans. I can't figure out what they're doing, but it looks so off to me.

My waist is similar, 27 1/2 inches with 36 inch hips. There's NOTHING I can do about. I'm already a size 4. Women like me either have to get super thin or just deal with not having a "traditional" hour glass figure. I appreciate seeing women like Kate Upton who represent thin women who don't have a 24 inch waist with 36 inch hips.
