Blind Items: I Guess, You Guess
When the person who appears to have the power in a relationship backs down quickly in a dispute, you know that there have to be some compelling reasons why. Although all the talk up to this point has been about his involvement with a powerful group, there were actually three other reasons he settled so quickly.
Here are the three reasons: 1. His very personal relationship with a professional athlete. 2. His very personal relationship with a musician. 3. His very personal relationship with a famous actor.
She was ready and willing to expose all three relationships to get what she wanted. The scandal of having these three famous people deposed by attorneys about their sexual relationships would have destroyed all four men. 1. This is supposed to be David Beckham and that rumor has been around a while. I still CAN'T with that rumor. I refuse to believe that these two licked each other's butts in the 69 position. If that happened, every dog in a 60-mile radius would've gone deaf from the high-pitched sex giggles those two made. Although....this would explain why Posh always looks like someone just farted on her mouth. But I have a feeling that Tommy and Katie settled so fast, because of his very personal relationships with these three:

3. The tapes from his audit sessions that David Miscavige threatened to leak if Tommy didn't wrap that mess up.
She is not supposed to be dating for a year. But, then again, she has never been very good at following directions. So she has agreed to be set up with a very hot celebrity. The setup was orchestrated by her boss, who has a vested interest in getting publicity for both the boy and the girl.

Nah. Tom will get Suri in the end. He couldn't fight it publically because he still wants his career. The public would hate him forever if he tried to take Suri from her mom. But you can bet he's working behind the scenes to poison the little girl against her mom. Katie better watch her back
I had a chance this morning to read a bit about Scientology...wow. Just wow.
I too have a hard time believing that Katie Holmes, of all people, had enough dirt on this cult to make Tom Cruise fold like a cheap suit. I'm glad her parents, especially her dad, was educated enough to help her through this...imagine if they hadn't been - it would be Nicole Kidman Round #2. Either that, or she would be dead. It would be really cool after this all settles down to see her and her father become champions for those who are entrenched in this manipulative stranglehold and expose David Miscavigne (sp) and Tom Cruise for who they really are. Fucking WEIRDOS. But I know that won't happen since I'm sure there is something in their divorce settlement that prohibits any exposure. And that's probably best for now...she has a daughter to raise. Hopefully she will eventually move back to Ohio or something and give Suri the normal life that little girl deserves. Lord knows she hasn't had any semblance of a normal life in her short six years on earth.
Regarding the blind items - I had heard about TC and Rob Thomas a long time ago...wasn't that shortly before the whole couch-jumping thing? What a convenient way to deflect attention from what was really going on, Tom. You are such a class act.

True, it wouldn't come out IN COURT because it is not relevant. However, it would be "leaked" while the trial is going on. A settlement would prevent that, if Katie has signed an agreement to never talk. (But, as I mentioned, I don't believe this has anything to do with sex.)

I wouldn't trust "blind gossip" if I were you. Those bitches seem to always come up with an item about some big story already in the news and then make it obvious who they are talking about. They really don't know shit. So I'll just ignore what they're saying.
However, I do think Ms. Katie has been planning her escape for MONTHS if not a couple of years and she gathered as much info on her husband as she could and with the help of her father decided when to spring the news on him. Everybody expected a big fight/court battle but there is no way CO$ would allow that. This quick settlement is not about who Tommy slept with; it's purely about keeping the secrets about CO$ secret.
