The reason I believe that homosexuality is abnormal is simple. I live on a ranch that raises many types of livestock; primarily goats and show horses. When breeding time comes, the stallions and billys are not breeding the females in their rectums unless they are first time breeders and that is a momentary "whoops". Same for humans; it isn't natural on any level to put a reproductive organ into the rectum. They're tired of being hated for no reason. You can say you don't hate them all you want...ok, you hate their "behavior". Reason? An actual logical reason? Someone's sexuality is part of who they are! Who they fall in love w. is biological. I honestly cannot imagine and of my gay friends as straight. If you dislike someone's "gayness", then, yes, you dislike him or her. Put the shoe on the other foot & think about how ridiculous it would sound if someone said that about a straight person. Everyone in the world wasn't meant to reproduce...there are a lot of people who shouldn't have. Just b/c I'm here b/c two people sexed each other, that doesn't mean that I'm meant to reproduce (childless by choice). Have you ever thought that perhaps homosexuality is nature's way of maintaining population control?

And to answer a few questions: why would it matter if one man wanted to marry several women (if, and only if, it were not a FLDS situation w. the abuse and whatnot) or if a bunch of men wanted to marry? They're all consenting adults, right? You forgot to throw in the "What if someone wanted to marry their pet???" scenario, too. The slippery slope thing is getting so. old.

Civil unions are the same thing as "separate but equal" from the civil rights era. It's still discrimination! What if they had a "straights only" bathroom or water fountain? Would that be ok, too?

Btw, Freedom of Speech doesn't apply to spewing bigoted hate against another. It refers ONLY to the right of citizens to speak out against their govt.

Romney really does need everything he can get but I don't really support Obama either.
