Anyway, Katie Holmes was out in NYC today after guest judging an episode of Project Runway: All-Stars 2, and her marriage finger was free of the shackle that was her wedding ring. You know that shit wasn't a wedding ring. It was a straight-up GPS tracking system. So I hope she pawned that shit and used the money to buy some new shoes. Seriously, she needs a new pair of shoes, because those ones she had on today were as ugly as three kinds of hell. They look like Chester the Cheetah's used cum rags. And that dress. I'm sure she made it out of her old Scientology prison jumpsuit. Bitch, you've freed yourself of Tommy Girl, now free yourself of bad taste.

You're right, Nicole didn't play the pr game, she didn't play ANY game, that's also why she lost her kids, and she let him walk away the "good guy".
Katie is playing it differently, she WANTS her daughter. She's also been planning this for a while now, so yeah, her good pr came out first, and the sooner she gets good pr out in front of her the better, because unless she has something big on Tom, the church and his lawyers and his pr are going to put a huge spin on this.
She's in for a fight, and good on her for getting a jump start. Tom has a lot of money and power, and the CO$ could have a lot to lose here, they won't stay quiet for long.

Katie is milking this for all it's worth. Her PR game is the best i've ever seem. She has made him look like a monster in the public's eye. Nicole moved on quickly after the divorce and used her acting talent to make people love her and see her movies. I don't think the divorce was even finalized when she relesed The Others (great movie btw and a global hit.) Katie is going the PR route. I suspect it will backfire in the end.
Of course she's looking better now. It was all part of the plan...play the depressed victim for the public. Now that she's rid of him she magically ~~flourishes. What a joke...but people are buying it so more power to her.

did we just get a ton of people over from jj about this shit? bitches, please. she knew this was going to happen the day she signed the contract. i dont feel for her other than a divorce - even one that you saw coming - has to be hard. that's all i feel for her. she knew what she was doing. she's fucking rich from it and now all eyes will be on her. i feel more pity for her poor kid, but i guess mom and dad not living together doesn't really matter these days if mom and dad are both rich as fuck.

You said it! I was going to post the very same comment. She looks so much healthier/younger/better already.
On one hand I feel sorry for her but on the other hand I don't because I'm sure she knew what she was getting into when she married Tom. But I applaude her courage for getting out and fighting for Suri; and I'm guessing her reasons for wanting out are due to her daughter and what would become of her if she continued to grow up in that cult. Good for you Katie. I knew you would do it sometime.

RedHeadTheGinge -- that's a great theory, RedHead, and a great strategy for Katie. Actually it's a brilliant strategy for Katie to keep Suri, appear put together as well as possible to enhance her chances at getting sole custody of Suri. It's really weird, I never gave 2 shits about Katie until the announcement the other day, but all of a sudden I feel incredibly supportive of her. In that banner picture of her, that's a very sad woman, and I do hope she is granted sole custody of the kid.
it might be wise for Katie's image, and a little twist of the knife, if Katie were to start hanging out with the Beckhams.
