Today's "no puedo" moment is brought to you by a cholofied Wilmer Valderrama.
We're living in a bizarre world, because somebody fronted the money for a movie called "School Dance" directed by Mimi's husband Nick Cannon and starring Wilmer Valderrama as a vato, Efren Ramirez and Amber Rose as some kind of bald-headed rockabilly skank. The hell is that movie? I don't even know.... This is either a comedy or an insurance scam. Fez as a cholo is almost as ridiculous as Kelso as a skinhead. Sure, Wilmer sort of looks the part, but if he pointed a gun at you, you'd probably swat it away and say, "Bitch, quit playing. You're Fez! Now roll your socks down. You look like Little Lord Fauntleroy." I mean, just imagine hearing Fez say, "Orale vato." My ears are already laughing.
And I'm trying to come up with Fez's cholo name. But I'm having a really hard time translating "Disney cooch hunter" into a cholo name.

That sucks about the car but the vacation Sounds awesome! I think you oldest is 12ish? I wouldn't know for sure but it seems kids 12 and under would still be cool to travel with, they're not that 14-16 year olds that sulk and don't want to hang with their younger sibs yet. I have two nieces (grand nieces lol) that are 6-7 and I love hanging out with them:) they're all wide eyed and ready to soak in anything you can teach them. Now mind you I've never had them for a week straight so I may be wrong with my nieve evaluation lol!
Whamo, I worked a good four hours and then was supervising my kids and their friends two doors down - they have a great inground pool. Of course I jumped in myself several times too! The Dad is a stay-at-home Dad for now and do pool duty when he can't - it's a fair trade off-my furies get to swim and hang with friends and he gets time off when I supervise.
Oh and I got my annual service on my car, $650 later...ugh! And that was after I complained and got a 20% reduction.
So just all round busy and we leave for vacation in 10 days - making sure car is good to go for the trip (driving down to a small island off North Carolina).

I don't like the physical stuff too much bucantering there's some value in it. They get a sense that they can fight back and they get physically confident. (obviously martial arts training would be a better use of this energy but it's prohibitively expensive here). I think it makes them less likely to be targeted and victimized. If we make them afraid of fighting physically they're afraid to fight back at all.
