Nick Stahl Is Out Of Rehab, Goes Missing AGAIN
Early last month, Nick Stahl's estranged wife and the mother of his daughter, Rose Murphy Stahl, told the police and the media that she hadn't heard from him in a couple of weeks and she was worried he took his ass to L.A.'s Skid Row to score a fix. Shit was looking bleak, but then Nick showed up a few days later and checked into rehab. Nick signed up for one of those 30-day programs, but he didn't last that long and checked out 3 weeks later even though his doctors told him that was not a good move. Right after Nick quit rehab, he went to stay with a friend and was seen trolling around downtown L.A. Nick never went back to his friend's house and Rose Murphy tells E! that she hasn't heard from him for four days. One of Nick's friends also tells E! that they're looking for his ass everywhere:
"Now he's disappeared. We can't find him anywhere. He has not made contact with anyone. We are all just desperately looking for him. Everyone just wants him to come home. It's a terrible situation. We are searching, but we've had no solid leads."
We all know what Nick's doing and maybe Rose keeps going to the media every time he goes missing, because she thinks that if he turns on a TV wherever he's at and sees her message, he'll call home. Or maybe I'm making something out of nothing and Nick is just EXHAUSTED from being in rehab for 3 weeks and is taking a nap in Lindsay Lohan's Marina Del Rey hotel room.
Hopefully, Nick will turn up safe and when he does, Rose should really look into putting a GPS microchip on his ass.

Here's an idea: fuck him. Let him be a big boy and come home when he's done binging or OD somewhere with his "real" friends. Or maybe you could put him in a cage with one of those shock collars if he goes too far and you could all high five over it.
ninety days is the least amount of time you should spend in rehab. the very least. he's out now, he hasn't been clean long enough to get any perspective, and he's hungry for a buzz. this might not end well. I feel bad for him and his family and wonder why he wasn't court ordered to do a longer stint.

This reminds me of our gerbils. One got loose in our apartment and I was worried sick about her being hungry and cold and scared and actually lost sleep over it and turned the place upside down searching for her. Then 24 hours later we caught her and put her back in the cage.
Next time, I didn't worry as much and found her half a day later in a closet, chewing a piece of stale bagel.
Next time, we just let her run loose until she pokes her head out from under a piece of furniture, begging to be caught.
No need to worry. He wants to be out there, and when he's ready he'll come back. And if he got himself dead, well, that shouldn't be a big surprise. Hopefully has has life insurance.

Was there ever proof he went to rehab in the first place besides her saying so? All I read about was her account of the situation. Her saying she broke up in to his email saying he told friends and his whereabouts being in rehab. Has anyone publically seen him before these claims came about?Who saw him staying with friends? Are there photo's of this? Anyone other than her or her circle saying this? I've not followed this story since he supposedly went to rehab, much less knew he was out already? I mean all this seems a little fishy. Either this dude is spiraling out, and only a matter of time before he either ODs or hits a major rock bottom to where he physically can't get himself out of rehab and needs major medical attention, or she's full of shit. Something about this is off.

Rose Murphy should just write him off and move on with the kids. Assuming he doesn't OD, he's pretty much made himself unemployable and useless or even dangerous to the kids and her.

I can't work up any sympathy. Rehab should be for people who actually *want* it - that place could've gone to someone else.
He's got people who love him, clearly. Any sympathy in this goes to those people.
