Rodney might well have been a fuckup but to have been beaten short of death and needing 5 hours of emergency surgery for trying to run from the cops just aint right, if we start woopin ass on every fuckup the cops will have lot of broken batons and that's a very slippery slope to be sure.
Feliz Cumpleaños Paulina, La Chica Dorada!

@ GG.....I laughed so hard at that movie, mind you I was probably high as a kite when we watched it:)
============================
PCU ? fricken funny!!! Jeremy Piven at his best. Gutter... George Clinton .....and the Parliament ... Funkadelic !!! LOL.
I don't agree that he was a loser, I think he was honest about his demons and I still remember what he had to say about forgiveness.
A troubled guy for sure, but just imagine what he went through (not just the beating but the trial & the riots that followed).
Rodney King drowned in his pool. Police were called at like 5:30am.
It is sad. I don't think he was a bad guy. He was no boy scout, for sure, but 47 is too young to die.

Happy Birthday, George! I see him most every summer over in St. Petersburg. Even took my mom once (she loved it).
I think it is sad when a human dies but come on, Rodney King was a loser and misfit. He did NOTHING to advance or help humanity. He belongs on the heap with Blohan and KK.

Very sad indeed. He suffered from alcoholism. What a shitty disease.
Just saw the living legend George Clinton at Mozambique in Laguna Beach a couple of months ago.
You can only imagine how hard a fairly seriously buzzed citizenstrange rocked out to "Flashlight."

OMG, It's George Clinton! "Atomic Dog" was one of my favorite songs to skate to back when I was a youngster. Sometimes I play "Flashlight" when my nephew is spending the night. We turn off the lights and dance around with flashlights. I used to have a "George Clinton for President" t-shirt in the early 90s. Wish I still had it. Happy birthday you funky birthday slut!

Wow, I thought Barry Manilow and George Clinton were much older than that. Happy birthday to them, and all the other list folks. :)

Happy Bday George Clinton, Jason Patric, Ken Loach, and Greg Kinnear!
I've always liked Greg, and I'm not sure why. I guess perhaps I felt his good-natured persona was more than an act. He was the original host of The Soup (back when it was called Talk Soup).
