There were these two really trashy and really glamorous "in a Juicy Couture sweatsuits with heels kind of way" tourists shoving through the crowd in front of the giant nativity scene to get to the front. Tanning and dieting. Honestly. The skin on the hands is very thin and it loses elasticity and collagen earlier than the rest if the body. You can slow it down a lot by not tanning (that includes using sunscreen on them even in the car), using a very good moisturizer several times a day, and ALWAYS wear rubber gloves when washing dishes and doing housework. The dieting come in if it's overdone. Despite what people say, you do need fats in your diet but you need the good ones like olive oil. Very little fat or bad fats is very hard on your system and that includes the skin.

I'm not a Catholic, and I'm not a fan of the Catholic church, but I've been to the Vatican and their clothing rules were reasonable.
