Open Post: Hosted By The Holding Hands With Strangers Prank
Here's the perfect thing to follow-up a Jennifer Aniston post, because I'm pretty sure this is how she got her daily dose of real human contact before Justin Theroux. The pranksters at LAHWF conducted something of a social experiment by breaking through a stranger's personal space to try to hold hands with with them. (This is not to be confused with John Travolta's dick holding with massage therapists prank.) This is obviously not NYC, because even though this is a city where you're regularly touching ass-to-ass with a stranger in a packed subway car, grabbing at ho's hands wouldn't go down so well. Instead of the title "The Holding Hands with Strangers Prank," this mess would be titled "Watch A Grabby Dude Get His Hand Shot Off."

Hey ba, I got a chuckle today when I came across the word Baywop. The only other time I've ever heard that is when you asked me if I might be one a few months ago. Lol.
Americans are so cute - pretty everyone in the video just giggles and looks embarrassed when they realise that the dude is trying to hold their hand. I love that. In Europe you'd be scoffed all over the place and maybe slapped.
M.E. I've no advice about D... just sending big hugs. I remember that the world hung very heavy on my shoulders at that age.
As for Mad Men. The whole Meaghan's family thing bothers me. Have you ever seen or heard a Quebecoise family? They do not have Parisian chic stylings like Meaghan's parents and their French certainly doesn't sound like Julia Ormond's albeit decent-enough British girl speaking France-French or Meaghan's dad, who's played by a Belgian actor. Would it have killed them to get some REAL quebecois actors (besides Meaghan)? Heavens knows there are plenty, and ones who'd be grateful for the gig.
Don realises that it's only a matter of time before he loses Meaghan so he's decided to let go, first. And thank heavens for that... I can't stand her nasal whining or artistic pretensions a moment longer. And I've missed the morose, cheating Don. Can't wait to see him having sexy time with women I can pretend are me.
I think I'm the only person on the planet who likes Bette and has some compassion for her. I liked Lane, too.
Now that Joanie has some money and power, will men start finding her unattractive? And will no longer slip into bed with random successful dudes? Curious.

I thought NJ would actually take it to game 7 and I can't believe Marty let in three in the 1st!!! Yes he's probably the best or close to the best for sure, you can put Roy in there as well especially for his playoff record. Marty might play one more year but there's talk of trading him which I just can't see them doing but you never know.

I want to say I'd tell this guy to fuck off but I'd probably half laugh with a firm NO and leave it at that.
I've had a crazy day; I started work at 6.30am, got kids on bus by 8am was at the dentist's office for my semi-annual exam by 8.30, then back to work at 10am. Was at my kids' school for 11.15 am for end of year picnics, then had a pedicure, then home to work for another hour, then kids got home, made them dinner, did some housework and headed off for USTA competition and played from 6-9pm in heat and humidity.
Now it's 10pm and icing my arm and having a glass of peanut grevious.
Oh and I won, hookers!

Try to make him feel safe, and if need be, get him to a social worker (C.S.W.) who will tell him about confidentiality and help him to feel comfortable and safe disclosing. Sometimes a child will talk more easily to a qualified third party. Good start taking him to the doc. Hopefully his troubles are small, but if they're not, then you've got to take measures to protect him. Good mama.

Hey Spotty! I'm not sure what the active ingredient is. I've bought three different kinds, though. One was $35.00 and said it would last for 16 days. Not. They had flies all over them the next day again. Same with the other two. I hate putting chemicals on them every day! Ugh.
I keep their areas clean, too, but it's been raining so much that the outside ground is forever wet which doesn't help.

I've seen Grey Gardens before but when I tried to watch it today I couldn't finish the movie. It's like a two person insane asylum.
You ever see the "sequel" with unaired footage and various updates? They show the house today (it's now owned by Ben Bradlee).
