I don't want to see it either, and I do find Madonna annoying. But I'd rather save myself a headache by thinking about how advancing age makes women scared, because they know how badly old women are treated in this culture, and that keeps them desperately clinging to their youth and often using more makeup or acting out sexually more in the attempt to keep the male attention/approval coming. And how that isn't really their fault, but the fault of a culture that marginalizes older women instead of treating them as fully human.
