CORRECTION: OctoMom Gets $4,000 A Month From Taxpayers
When TMZ said last month that OctoMom was getting $2,000 a month in food stamps, I couldn't figure out how she could feed a family of 26 (including her multiple personalities) on such little money. Well, I don't have to worry about the OctoKids eating each other's boogers for nourishment while locked in their baby prison, because she said in an interview with Good Morning America that she's actually getting $4,000 to $5,000 a month from California taxpayers. It's good to know that when Octo feeds her child army breakfast by putting out a giant bowl of water in the backyard, she pours Cheerios brand Cheerios in there instead of the generic brand Cheerios that come in a plastic bag. You know which one I'm talking about.
Octo was on GMA to defend herself against those pictures of her Baby House of Terror. Octo's hairstylist, the one she paid $520 for a Brazilian Blowout, ratted a bitch out by giving the pictures to TMZ and the La Habra Police Department. Octo told GMA that she was set up and it's not as bad as it looks.
On her chirruns bonding with nature by going caca in potty training toilets in the backyard, because her indoor plumbing was busted: “She (the hairstylist) thought it was unacceptable that they’re, you know, half-naked, goin’ potty. I mean, moms out there, come on.” (Note: The toilets in her house are fixed now.)
On how she didn't lock her children up in the bedroom. She put the chair there to keep them out: “I didn’t want the kids to go in there at the time and one of my older kids jammed the chair up there so they wouldn’t keep opening and closing the door."
On how she paid $520 to maintain her hair beauty when she's on public assistance and doesn't have a steady job: Octo says the $520 included a Brazilian Blowout and haircuts for the entire family. "I am making money, though. I have jobs and can afford it."
On how she's getting $4,000 to $5,000 a month in food stamps: "It’s almost over. This is our last month on help."
Why do her 15 thousand kids need haircuts, anyway? Suze Orman needs to nail this bitch with another clue. You don't need to pay someone to cut your kid's hair when you can do it yourself. Kids can have jacked up hair, they're kids! Growing up middle class, my mom could afford to take us to MasterCuts, but when she didn't feel like it she took us to the backyard and cut our mops herself. All you need is a pair of scissors, two semi-working hands and the ability to hold in a laugh when your kid ends up with a haircut from the HERP DERP look book. My sister's hair couldn't look more fucked up if she cut it herself in the garbage disposal. It had layers, alright, and each layer was more messed up than the next. It was the 80s, though, so we just looked New Wave. See, Octo's kids can bring back New Wave glamour!
And as for Octo, bitch's hair looks fine and it doesn't need a blow job from Brazil. What Octo needs to do is go out into nature, lay down on the dirt and wait until some stupid birds mistake those bushy brows for hairy caterpillars. Let their beaks fix her eyebrow situation, because it needs fixing bad.

This trick makes me so ill! She has been living off California's teat the ENTIRE time! We (I live in CA)paid for her fertility treatments, her hospital care (medical), and STILL pay for her! She is a beast who knows how to work the system.
By the way, I couldn't get Medical when I was pregnant with my twins. I was married and had a part-time job. I worked with a chick who was NOT married having her THIRD kid and getting Medical. She was living with her boyfriend too.
Lucky for me my college demanded I get healthcare. We penalize people for trying to help themselves and reward people for milking the system. I just want to know WHY?

Spaz it is society's responsibility - unless you really think that American society has no responsibility for the welfare of the nation's children. If you knew a child was going hungry, or was being abused, or was sick and not getting treated, you would feel a responsibility to help, no? Well these kids would suffer if she was denied welfare. You can't punish her financially without punishing the kids more - and they are blameless.
In any case, if she's getting $4,000 a month for 15 children that $266 for each child. That works out as the princely sum of $8 a day per child! That's the price of, what, one beer in a hotel? It's less than the cost of a Starbucks coffee plus sandwich. Hardly a fortune.
And if this case really does get under your skin, it'd make more sense to get angry at the doctor. She didn't get herself pregnant - he performed the procedure for money, even though he must have known she has mental health issues and was without the means to support the babies he was implanting for $$$ (and his own fame).

I disagree. If I accidentally got pregnant with one baby, it would NOT be the public's responsibility to take care of it. This woman didn't accidentally have a litter of 8 - she went to a doctor to make it happen, so she could be famous. It's HER responsibility.

Most of her kids are boys, buy a pair of fucking clippers and give them buzz cuts yourself for free. The girls can grow their hair long and wear it in braids, maybe get a haircut twice a year at a salon that does $8 kids cuts. I don't know why this trick is living in suburban Orange County. Move out to Perris or Bakersfield, bitch, and raise your chirruns on a farm or something.
The problem is too many people are giving her freebies. Brazilian Blowout's CEO is giving her $520 in a grocery card to reimburse her and a series of free haircuts for her and her kids. This is EXACTLY what she wants and unfortunately gets.
California is where I currently reside as well. So, NO, I don't want to "leave her alone". She has created a massive problem - and she needs to deal with it.
I am not saying the kids are a "problem". They are innocent in all of this. They need to have a parent that is stable and mature. I do not believe she is either one of those.
What she really needs is therapy and intensive monitoring. She has a serious case of addiction here - some type of addiction to love or a co-dependent issue. I am not a therapist, but even a non-professional could tell she has ISSUES!

when we were super poor i gave my husband haircuts. now i actually went to beauty school and managed a great clips years ago (don't ask) so you would think i knew how to do this shit. he still walked out of the house looking like a fucking freak. i only attempted to cut my kids hair once and it was a disaster. so i would support her taking her kids to great clips or some shit like that. but $520 to have HER hair done? fuck that. i felt like i was being robbed when i was paying $120 for haircut and a few foils. and if she "has jobs" why is she collecting that much welfare? i find this all so damn ridiculous.

I had the "moe" haircut when I was a child, only with crooked bangs. Don't start thinking I'm ready to forgive for this, either, because I'm not.
Meanwhile, welfare never gives you enough to live on. My bff was on the dole for a while after the asshat she married punched the crap out of her & kicked her out of the house with their daughter. I feel there should be welfare for emergencies - with a time limit. The only 2 family members my bff could've gone to were married to men who had molested her as a child, and my bff had a daughter. Sometimes really shitty stuff happens. But she also got WIC, which gave her 5 gallons of milk a week, plus juice and cereal, etc. & she also got food stamps. But they don't give you enough to actually make it through one whole month (except that you'd have about 15 gallons of milk in the fridge). My partner and I struggle along on $4,000 a month, so ... part of me feels for Octo ... but then a larger part of me is hoping she gets kicked to the curb by the state of CA. I am widowed, with a completely physically and mentally disabled son. We do get disability ($600 monthly) and 90% on his meds, but that is IT. I work at home and pay my bills. I had one who like to write on walls, so I went to a smart and finals and bought me a HUGE roll of white butcher paper and lined one wall with that daily. color away.

Goddamn it you can buy hair cutting scissors at CVS for about $12. It is not difficult to cut kids's hair. I do it and it comes out great. If my hair was long enough to cut myself, I would.
