Warner Bros. just released this Hi-Res really long (it's seriously the 12-inch-long pencil peen of promo pictures) picture of Anne Hathaway in full Julie Newmar as Catwoman drag and survey says: MEH-ow! Maybe Anne will prove me wrong when The Dark Knight Gets An Erection comes out whenever it comes out, but so far all these pictures have been bleak. I don't see Catwoman at all. I see a sorority sister at a Halloween party throwing her best "get the Q-Tip" look in the kitchen doorway before going to suck on a beer bong. This is like a picture your old high school friend posts on her Facebook page and you try to come up with something nice to say but the only thing you can type out is: Bitch, you TRIED it.

I see Anne here and she is not completely selling me on this Catwoman. I am not loving it, but I am not hating it either. I think she's one of the more capable actresses of her generation, so I am more likely to give her a try than others. She has amazing energy, so let's see if she can do something with the role. I do agree with others that say Nolan miscasts his female roles or underwrites them. No Catwoman will be as phenomenal as Michelle Pfeiffer's and she should not even try. If she can make me believe she is Catwoman for even a few scenes then she has already won in my book.

Agree about Michelle Pfeiffer. Fantastic catwoman, effortlessly sexy. Anne Hathaway doesn't bother me, but I don't think this is the right role for her. Maybe she'll surprise us, but even in this movie-still, the sexy factor is about a 2, and it's only because of the boots.

The hair is very boring. The color is beautiful but it really should have been curlier and more voluminous. I don't know, more like a mane. The ponytail and the Party City cat-ears are not the Hollywood look. We can do better.
