Open Post: Hosted By George Takei's Happy Dance
The campaign to raise a shit load of money for George Takei's Broadway bound musical Allegiance was a success and he celebrated by riding, whipping and slaying the beat. My soul has been dehydrated ever since Internet legend La Pequeña retired from making sweet moves on YouTube, but this clip of George dancing quenched its thirst a little. This is like a scene from The Glittery Gays of YouTube Retirement Home and the world is a sparklier place because of it.

No offense, but, I've always found inaccurate acronyms fascinating on the 'net.
How does AVI=Avatar? by any stretch of the imagination?
Who decided on AVI instead of AVA? There is not even one fucking 'i' in the word 'avatar'.
And why are acronyms actually more complicated and harder to write at times than their fully written counterparts? Talk about counterproductive.

I think that would be an abbreviation. SCUBA is an acronym. You don't capitalize "AVI" (the individual letters do not stand for anything).
And I think you practically answered your own question. "Ava" would be harder to write/speak because it just drops off the tongue uncomfortably, relative to "avi". And, "by any stretch of the imagination," really? Not to be unnecessarily snarky, but I guess that means yours doesn't stretch very far?
Hence, it is abbreviated as "avi" instead. Acronyms, also, pretty much exist for the sake of convenience.

Warm, so long as working out doesn't take all your time. I find one can plateau and that's when you get bored to death! Karate is excellent! Soccer keeps you lean and strong, but you're looking to bulk up... It's tough when you have to work so hard at it!

Pickled ginger is way too acidic before bed.
Ginger oil needs to be diluted with a carrier oil to be safely consumed on its lonesome.
Powdered ginger is usually the safest bet. Heat a little water and milk mixture and put a 1/2 teaspoon of ginger and let it steep for a few minutes and drink it. If you have honey, even better.

Duh! I totally forgot about ginger. Thank you for the reminder. I have both fresh pickled ginger and powdered ginger and even ginger oil. I'm not sure which one would work better though??????

Eat some ginger if you have it. No ginger? Try chewing on some other spices in your cabinet like anise, fennel or coriander seed which are natural digestives.
You probably put too many jalapeños in your chili sauce which is a typical Gringo mistake (no hate).
I can't help you with the sleepless thing though except to advise you meditate and keep all televisions and radios off because those just interfere and interrupt your brainwaves. I honestly don't know how some people sleep with their televisions on at night. Reminds me of Poltergeist.

or people don't seek help because of all of the stigma about addicts and addiction. they feel like the people in their lives will wish them ill because they have a problem. you see it here in comments all the time. no one realizes that people don't seek help because of the ignorance of others. no one wakes up in the morning and thinks, hey, good day to be a drug addict, i think i'll start! if you don't understand addiction and what it can do to a person, keep your fucking comments to yourself and maybe people would have a better time getting help.

I took a look at your great grandfather's photo and he definitely looks all white (and incredibly handsome too).

Thank you. I think it was fun to out sicko alts who are constantly accusing people of being sicko alts. But I really didn’t want to do it, I do not like making a show of myself but at the same time I have dignity in every circumstance. You are correct over time at some point the true instigators are shown. That myspace is an old ass account so hopefully no crazies can seek me out after this.

I think you don't understand the history of bullying here on dlisted. It's almost par for the course.
Outing yourself here as to who you really are isn't the worst thing in the world. There are a lot of folks who post their personal pages and whatnot without a problem (Triston for one).
Stick to your guns but I wouldn't lower yourself to fighting with people who will look like fools in the end anyway. Just stick to being you and eventually people come around and the people that never will usually get ignored eventually. It's "THE WAY" here.
