Hot Slut Of The Day!
Nestle and the Girl Scouts cookie people joined together to create a delicious sugar baby for our bellies they named the Crunch and Thin Mints candy bar! We should all congratulate the 8-year-old Girl Scout who sold ten million boxes of Thin Mints to Nestle to make this happen, but I'm not going to do that yet since you can't buy this bar of YES!! in stores. It's just a sample. So we'll have to put on our undercover Girl Scout uniforms (don't act like you don't have one), gather in front of Nestle's headquarters and wait until the salespeople come out so that we can throw money at them before grabbing their sample cases full of this deliciousness.
I hope this means that the heavens will open up and drop Samoa/Almond Joys into our eat holes. I also hope that the Girl Scout Cookies ice cream and this candy bar is leading up to what we really want: Girl Scout Cookies vodka! I've tried to make it on my own, but the Samoas keep clogging up my at-home distiller.

I love Thin Mints so much that I bought a box and ate the whole thing in like two days when I was a pre-diabetic. I barely touched any other junk food because I was scared of becoming a full-fledged diabetic but I just had to eat a box of Thin Mints.
This chocolate bar actually looks dry and gross though (judging by the picture on the package).
I can't stand those little pushers called the girl scouts. I'm so sick of being asked if I wanna buy their crack cookies. Literally at every store and corner here. I always lie and say I just bought from somewhere else, when really I just want to say 'No, you little bitches,quit trying to hustle me.'

I think I will try the thin mints one for curiosity purposes only. If you have to, buy 1 box of cookies and share them. Give the rest of the money to them as a donation. The GS cookie company only gives them a portion of every dollar and it's rather pathetic.

Went to get groceries last night, and the Scouts had a booth set up in the vestibule of the store. Of course, I HAD TO buy a box each of Thin Mints and Tagalongs because I was a Girl Sprout my own self back in the day. When I sold them, the were a buck and some change. NOW they are three-and-a-half clams. *faints* I haz the olds.

To be honest, the GS cookies of today all suck. They are dry, cheap and do not taste like the cookies we bought when I was a kid.

I used to absolutely LOATHE Thin Mints (but adore hydrangeas) but have come to like them now that I've been a grown up for awhile. I have a 1/2 package squirreled away in my desk right now awaiting it's tasty demise. Only shared with 1 boss who is not a health nut.

Priness is a "Daisy" Girl Scout this year. She had a minimum of 12 boxes to sell (first graders ya know) and she ended up selling 79 boxes. We bought 10 boxes, kept 3 out and immediately shoved the other 7 in the freezer, where I am certain to find them somewhere around Christmas 2015.
Fucking Yum!! Just ate a box of frozen thin mints by mahself this weekend. ;D

I used to love Samoas, but not only have they gotten smaller, they are definitely not as good as they used to be. They're not as chewy--I think there's a greater proportion of cookie left over in the mix, and not enough/as much of everything else. Disappointing.
I used to be a girl scout (I was a "brownie"). I was sold on the idea of doing the cool shit they showed in the little pamphlets. I thought we'd get to do the kind of stuff that boy scouts got to do. WRONG. My girl scout troup just met up and sat around in this shabby building in the park, drank kool-aid and ate crappy cookies, and did crappy crafts. I don't even know how I got badges because when did we ever do anything to get badges for?

I bought one box of Thin Mints, one of Samoas, and one of Tagalongs this year, and I still have Thin Mints and Samoas from last year in the freezer. They quit making those Dutch chocolate with the chocolate chip though, those were always yummy.

It's funny how some people love mint and others are like, "Ugh, toothpaste". We freeze our Thin Mints. I hate how puny the Samoas have gotten, but still indulge...also a fan of Tagalongs (Chocolate Peanut Butter). Celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouting this year. Cookie booths will be popping up this weekend if you haven't already donated! Like many, our troop's extra proceeds send cookies to the military overseas.
EC- Agreed. They're truly shitty and low rent for how much they charge. I buy for the cause and to help out my neighbor's girls, not because they're good.
