7-year-old Rita Lawlor was given an award by The Sarasota County Fire Department for slapping the life back into her mother with a slice of pizza. Just when I was about to get my baby making part snipped so that I can never drunkenly go down to the sperm baby to donate my shit for quick weed money, I see something like this. You are most welcome. I have had the damn flu for several days now, and have been leaving "out sick" messages for my boss (as required). I know they are crazy and rambling - this virus has got me practically comatose.
Anyway, my bf just tells me I sounded crazy. Well, whatever. My boss hates me, and has zero respect for me. My bf thinks he knows it all because he got a good job recently. I helped him by spending several days with him rewriting his re'sume'. He tries to help, bit it is halfhearted.
Sometimes, I feel like life is such a losing,game. I hope it will improve. I feel my own depression weighing down on me. It isn't easy.

I know you feel. I have been trying for a long time to get a position in this one company. I have also been attempting to apply to grad school for some time now. My depression has been a cloud over my head for years.
Therapy has helped a lot. I hope the meds and therapy help you as well.

Yesterday a 65-year-old was assaulted on a bike trail by 2 16 year olds and a 15 year old - pulled a gun and shot the two 16 year olds (one fatally), while the 15 year old has been remanded to juvie.

From what the local news says, no serious damage was done. And the asshole shooter is in prison because he can't raise bail. Thing is, friend has kids with him, I can't imagine what they're having to deal with right now. I asked her husband (another longtime friend of mine) how they were doing, he said as well as can be expected. I didn't want to be a bother, I will probably give her a call tomorrow to see how she is.
I never met the guy (I lived elsewhere while they were married) but have never heard a nice thing about him.

Have you tried light box therapy? Two of my friends have used that to deal with their depression. One noticed a change for the better, and the second did so much so that she was able to go off her meds entirely.
