Heather Locklear Is In The Hospital
Heather Locklear, seen above at the Lakers game on Tuesday night, was shuffled off in an ambulance to the hospital today after her sister freaked out and called 911. TMZ's story is that Heather found out the hard way that following a cocktail of pills with a sweet nectar chaser sometimes makes your insides weird out. Heather's sister was apparently afraid that she was trying to hurt herself and so she called for help. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department can't say why Heather is laid out on a hospital bed tonight, but they did say this to People:
"Emergency response personnel responded to a medical emergency call at Ms. Locklear's residence. Once they arrived, it was determined that Ms. Locklear needed to be transported to the hospital for further medical attention."
Some source opened their mouth to Radar and said that Heather's still hurt in the heart about her break-up with Dr. Peter Burns and she's having a hard time getting over it. This is not how this episode is supposed to play out. Sammy Jo/Amanda Woodward is the one who should be stomping cracks into hearts and putting hos in the hospital, not the other way around. Somebody put Fallon and a horsey drinking pool in front of Heather, because drowning a rival will definitely make her feel better:
Heather reminds me of that rare breed of pretty, popular girls who are genuinely nice and considerate of others. Anyone who partied and hung out with rock stars must have at the very least, some drug/and or alcohol issues.
Having grown up in SolCal, aging must be a curse to her. You can't run from your problems, but She should seriously get out that toxic environment. Get better Heather baby.

I feel so sorry for her daughter Ava, she deserves to come home to a sober parent who still looks like mom and not a relative of Madame.
I once spoke w/ her by phone for some work stuff (worked in entertainment) and she was so nice and down to earth. She was talking about how she had to go to a bbq in jerz with her (former)husband and his family. She did NOT sound as though she wanted to go. Made me laugh!

Yes, she is Native. She is of the Lumbee tribe. When I was active in the Native community in the L.A. area she was always around helping too. Since I'm not active right now I have no idea if she is still active too.

I feel sorry for her.
Break-ups suck, aging sucks, life, at times, can suck, but you just have to try to pull yourself through.
Hope she gets the help she needs.

That said, it's hard enough for us "regular folk" to age and realize we're not going to see 25 again. I can't imagine what it must be like to not only do it in front of the cameras, but to have been thought of (at one time) as one of the most beautiful women in America.

That clip is horrible. How they could replace a legend like Pamela Sue Martin (Nancy Drew and the original Poseidon Adventure) with dumb old Holly from skank ass Port Charles I will never understand. That's when I quit that bitch of a show (Dynasty, not General Hospital, which I hated but I still watched). Get a load of how Holly/Fallon acts all surprised to see Sammy Joe standing there, even though she just roared up in the General Lee, screeched to a stop 3 feet away from her and stormed out. Holly/Fallon was obviously heavily sedated. Then they wrestle in a mud pit in the middle of a desert that looks suspiciously like Hazard County Georgia. All that scene needed was Uncle Jesse watching and jacking off in his rocking chair.
Just retire and travel. Put it all behind you!

I would bet that she mixes her poisons every day, and she just miscalculated this time, for whatever reason. I always thought she was one of the cooler ones, not a total bitch and didn't take herself too seriously so far as I could tell. Speedy recovery, Locklear.

I think that's her mom in the pic. And as for the godawful Dynasty clip - I hate the faux Fallon. The two characters HATED each other, as I'm sure Michael K knows. The Pamela Sue Martin version had a terrific catfight in Season 2 that resulted in Fallon's car accident! Good times.
I think she could have done WAY better then Tommy Lee, Richie Sambora and Doctor Peter Burns. Just saying.

Well i'm glad her sister was there to "freak out" as they so poignantly put it. She's alive due to that..this confirms my theory aging is most brutal on women who were known for their beauty. It becomes more magnified in that cess that is Hollywood. I'm glad she's ok and maybe she can recover enough and stick around for her daughter

I'll guess she's having a hard time coping with getting older...maybe a good idea would be to focus on her child, and consider how these type of situations/behaviors might affect her daughter in the long run.

Yes, she has had mental issues throughout her life including chemical dependencies as far as I know and therefore it ought to be noted that it isn't entirely due to a break down in a relationship. Healthy indidviduals do not respond in this way usually. I think it is such a positive thing that she has family who loves and looks out for her health.
She looks like a blonde Julianne Moore in that pic.
Back on topic, maybe it was just an accident. She might be taking something for anxiety or depression and had a glass of wine. I've seen people mix a cocktail of booze and pills with no problem, and I've seen people completely black out from a .25 mg. xanax a few sips of smirnoff ice. I do hope she gets better soon. Breakups suck eggs.
Wow, I remember watching her on TV when I was younger and thinking how exciting her life must be - rich, gorgeous, famous, hanging out with bad-boy rock stars. I guess we never know what's really going on behind the public persona. Here's hoping she gets better, she always seemed like a decent person.

As someone mentioned, MK is showing his gentle heart here actually. He's empathizing with her by saying she is hurt and might feel better by beating up a ho. Maybe that's not the exact medical cure for depression, but getting out your anger can be empowering.
Sounds like she's self-medicating to shut out the pain. Not a suicide attempt, per se, but definitely pointing in that direction.
She's had a bad couple of breakups. I wish she could receive a basket full of puppies to bring her smiles.

I really don't think MK ever uses people as targets, he may make a funny remark but almost always reveals his tender heart when people are fragile.
I feel more sorry for her daughter Ava who got a raw deal, 2 effed up parents with substance issues.
