The poster for the upcoming Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron flick, The Paperboy, has been released. Jadis and the REAL Pretty Girl are riding off to the Mac counter in their vintage automobile.
The old-school look of the poster is doing it for me, but you can take Stoned Guy and John Cusack's Ted Bundy eyes out of it. Nic Kidman and Efron have GOT this, hunty! Yeah, she's supposed to be trying to morph her suspended animation face into "hot n' fun cougar" and he's trying to be a scaliwag young man aching to stick his dick in her. However, it actually reads as "boozy stage mom taunting her gay son over his asshole bleaching pain." I'd rather see THAT movie.

Zak is 5'10" I wouldn't call that a major case of the shorts; and yes he is pretty, but I think he will grow into his more masculine look with age.
Personally I thought he looked like James Dean in this movie poster =oP
BTW there is nothing wrong with Jared Leto's career. He chooses to be a Rock Star over being a Movie Star, that's all.
I think there are quite a few successful beautiful leading men in Hollywood :o)
I will watch anything where Nicole is seducing someone so yes, I am gonna see it!
I don't know Zac Efron from his High School Musical movies (I've never seen them) or anything else he has really done aside from 'Hairspray', but the few bits I have seen him in, he seems capable enough.
However, do I ever see him as a leading man? No. First of all, he is WAY to pretty. Even prettier than Brad Pitt in his heyday. And that beauty gets an added case of him suffering from the shorts. I mean, what is he? 5'6", tops?!

Zefron is a hot piece and he seems like a nice guy, aside from that unfortunate lapse in judgment when he "dated" Vanessa Hudgens (but that's really just me being a jellis h8r). I wouldn't call him the next James Dean or anything but if he breaks out in a big serious movie role, I'd put money on his staying power.

I'm sorry, but that movie was rubbish. I have been forced to watch that (along with other movies) by my girl-friends and UGH, I'm sorry but I must have too much testosterone because I just can't stand movies like that, or any Katherine Heigel flick, movies like The Notebook, Steel Magnolias, The English Patient, Sleeping With The Enemy.....the list can go on and on!

LOL at all of you that liked 17 Again. :) It's a rehash of (1) Freaky Friday; (2) Like Father, Like Son (which was another rehash of Freaky Friday; (3) Freaky Friday (with Blohan - a redux); and (4) Switch - which in my honest opinion was the better movie of all of them, including the original Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster! :)
There was also All of Me with Lilly Tomlin and Steve Martin but that was so-so

Count me in as a fan of '17 Again' - I thought it was a cute story and he was very likable in the movie. I agree with those who say Zac is one of those guys who will look better with age - Leo D and Matt Damon were the same way - they grew into their looks. They aren't what I would think of as "Clint Eastwood rugged" (swoon), but they make decent movies and appear to have a modicum of acting talent.
I don't know if he's the ghey (and quite frankly, don't care) but I also don't find him as obnoxious as some other young male celebrities (Les Beav, RPatz and LaBoof come to mind).
And I can't believe I just spent this much time commenting on Zac Efron on a celebrity gossip website.
