Charlize Theron has been a busy goddess. Between filming Young Adult, Snow White and The Huntsman and Prometheus, she says what she does in her downtime is mostly sleep, according to Showbiz Spy. In the interview, she talks about her love of travel, wine, and good conversation, none of which she has time for right now. Beer boy below may just have to wait. Charlize gets first crack. Okay, I'm back. That didn't take long...I mean we're talking about Charlize here. So she also said “I love watching movies. I haven’t been able to watch a lot of movies recently and I can’t wait to go home and have the screeners come in and just couch up." GIRL, I am with you. I have a great DVD collection in addition to pronhub so we are SO on the same page. We can drink wine, have conversation (maybe "good" is not on the menu, but hey), watch movies (bow-chicka-BOW-WOW), do uh whatever comes naturally and then you can catch your coveted Zs on my pillow top king size. Just enjoy those sweet dreams and don't pay any attention to the woman under the silk sheet.

There are no Superfriends. What a fucking joke. ONE person mentioned to me that Angela was up in here slamming Sweetas (and yes, people are kinda talking about it, in general, yer makin' a stir - waddyathink is gonna happen?) and what little I read about it here was hilarious. Superfriends? Come on now! Write the man a damn email and say you're not pleased. If there's enuff emails (a couple hundred out of several thousand should do it, right?), I'm sure he'll adjust it but if there isn't - too bad so sad! Dissing her cuz you think she's part of some Superfriends club is just as ridic as anything you might all be complaining about.
There's a coupla people who get along and a coupla people who like to hang around and post personal shit all day. And don't they usually do that in the Open Post anyway - with a couple anomalies here and there? It's not a damn army. It's definitely not as united a front as y'all are thinking it is.
When you say "it used to be fun here" Well. 5 fucking years ago when I first started posting I didn't show up on the radar either - then I made noise cuz I like attention;p Most of those people are gone now. In truth - I feel like it used to be WORSE. But I find that it's hard to break in on almost any board. Let me tell you why.
1. People start conversations (even ON TOPIC convos) with each other and all that scrolling back and forth is enuff work - they miss everything in between.
2. People don't know you. They don't know if you're only posting once, talking to anyone in particular, really beweave what you're saying - they take time to get to know you before they respond. (have you ever noticed that people who introduce themselves as new posters always get more play? Angela does it all the time - it totally works)
3. They think you're Angela. (every board has an Angela) I do not know how many screen names she has - SHE said 683. I beweave it.
Personally, sometimes I don't respond to a post just cuz I feel it's well-said, I have no argument and if I posted every time I felt that way every second post would be mine.
Sure - there's backchat; that's just human. I mean - fishy should know all about that from the Forum, right? I can never find anything in the Forum - but those people are ALWAYS talking shit about everyone on the board. I know this cuz sometimes it leaks to here. There are people backchatting on FB - but not all together. Nuh uh. That's wrong.
It's also not fun to watch "in" posters (I do not even know who that is - I separate this group into: prolific, personal, funny, serious, debaters...seriously, I think the "in" crowd is what I would call "the activists") be attacked, which is what I see most often these days. Personally, I don't like to watch anyone get "attacked". You wanna say you don't like this or that - fine. But taunting them cuz you don't like it is not fair either.
I am not speaking for anyone's team. I'm only responding to this post - not the whole board. I BARELY know Sweetas except that I've always thought she's funny as hell and whenever she posts it always brings a smile to by face. I think it's rude to bother to open the site, read it, decide you don't like it, post that you don't like it, go on at length about it - when you can just as easily click out. Or, like I said, write him an email...but telling ANYONE how to run their business is rude. Also, I hate whining.
That's not directed at Phoebe - who doesn't post that often but I always enjoy her input too. For the record.

I have seen Nancy Grace be a bit of a stirrer too! But I like her, nonetheless - she has a certain charm and talks straight and is funny.
I think it's important to welcome in new people! I totally understand the "click" people are talking about and it's very intimdating to many because of a lot of inside jokes and talk about "check your messages" or "turn your phone on, I'm trying to call you" stuff. However, the "click" folk are also be very sweet and supporitve and are good people in general. Also, funny as freakin hell!

We have a sitter for the first time who is free on NYE and we too decided to stay home. We're having our night out tomorrow night instead (at a nice retaurant where we have a $50 coupon on $100 worth of food and drink - easily done with just two of us) and then free tickets to a late comedy show (free due to it being my birfday month) so looking forward to it and stayout our asses home on NYE with bubbly and Netflix and a logfire!

hah one year that was me. I went with some friends to a club, where they sat us down at a table and gave us two big bottles of Svedka and unlimited mixers. I'm a beer gal and very rarely drink wine or liquor, so this stuff just tasted like slightly spiked fruit juice...I knocked back a bunch of them and was like "oh hey, I don't feel even a buzz...wee let's knock back some more!"
Yeah. That ended well. Somehow someone plopped me in a cab and I got into my friend's apartment safe and sound, thank god. I've never been that sick in my life, and three years later, I still shy away from vodka. Now I just stay at home on NYE, maybe this year I'll watch some netflix with the BF and make a nice dinner or something. That's about as ambitious as I get nowadays.

Oh Dog - behold - I lost three!
Briefly, I used the wrong footwear on my eliptical and spent 60 mins doing an uphill cardio bust-my-arse workout. After, my two big toes were murdering me - it was really weird and later that day I had hematomas on both. This was last Sept.
The very next day I was swimming laps and on the turn, I bashed my injured toe nail so hard I nearly passed out under water and had to leave the pool straight away. It was sheer agony. I also play a lot of tennis so that has fucked 'em up even more. So finally, now, the nails have fallen off and may this never, ever happen again! I've been in way too much pain since Sept.
Working out is bad for your health!

Seriously, a certain set of the 'regulars' here make it far less entertaining and much more miserable for people to jump in than the actual "trolls" do.
