Gotta love her for being in "The Shining," one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw a documentary about the making of the movie, and supposedly Kubrick was a real bastard to her. I'm not going to hate on Kubrick, though, the guy was a fucking genius.

To me this will always be my favorite Shelley Duvall moment.
I always wondered about her casting in The Shining. The wife of Jack Torrance in King's novel was supposed to be blonde, attractive, and strong. Whatever. I loved that Kubrick put Shelley in overall dresses and that bright ass 70s tomato red. Her appearance alone upped the creep factor.
