Jay-Z's Got 99 Problems But An OWS Protester Ain't One

With a golden child of infinite light who only eats canary diamonds and only wears baby wigs fronted with lace imported from France on the way, Jay-Z has to hustle harder for that money since the billions of dollars he has in the bank surely isn't enough. Jay-Z's lips are extra chapped today, because of all the heat his ass is getting for selling Occupy Wall Street t-shirts through Rocawear and donating a grand total of ZERO dollars to the movement. The Occupy Wallet Movement: That's how the 1% stays in the 1%!

The Wall Street Journal says that after many complained that Jay-Z is filling his pockets with money from a movement he didn't help to create, the t-shirts were pulled off of Rocawear's website. Before pulling the t-shirts, Rocawear confirmed to Gawker that they ain't giving shit to those OWS bitches:

The 'Occupy All Streets' T shirt was created in support of the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement. Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression, whether it be artistic, political or social. 'Occupy All Streets' is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street. At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.

The most surprising thing about this is that Rocawear still exists (and yet Cross Colors only exists in Europe today, shame). The second most surprising thing about this is that Pimp Mama Kris didn't come up with it first. That sound you hear of a wet steak slowly sliding off of a wall is Pimp Mama Kris's new face falling off after she punched herself in the head over not coming up with this shit before Jay-Z.

The "While You're Locked Out Of The NBA, Okkupy Kardashian" t-shirt..... What could've been, what could've been....

I must add that if I were the so called 1%, I certainly wouldn't want to be forced to subside people who are able bodied, of sound mind and lazy.

Rich people should not be legislated to share, that's not a democratic society but something scary. Why work to achieve anything then. Why have a dream for something better?

C'mon, jay. Walk the talk and chalk up some $$ for OWS. Else own up to your greed scheme.

Oh, definitely. I didn't mean to imply that ALL college students are that way, just to say that I get Jintess' point because I see it so often. It's rampant.

Go Ponchik's sister!!!

♥good thoughts to her ♥

I'm working my ass off to make it through my education with the best grades and the best attitude possible, all the while owing student loans that I'll be paying on for quite a while. I'm doing all of this because I am making it MY mission to, as a college instructor, hopefully make a difference in someone's life the way my professor did in mine. Because of her, I am inspired to do everything I can to hopefully impact someone else's life, so that they might become a better person and in turn, help someone else. And so that they might understand the world around them and have some awareness about what is happening. That's what I'm doing :)

Also, I am proud to be one of the have-nots. It made me who I am and who I will be.

ponchiks's picture

Thank you guys, it's good to know that others can see just how wrong this is. I know that she will have the operation, there's no going back- it's either that or a spinal surgery in a few years time. The thing about him is that he loves how all men always stare at her, he never grew out of that teenage phase of when all you see is boobs, and to him, having her is like having a trophy that everyone else wants, he doesn't care how she feels. They met and got married young, she matured, grew up, he became an even bigger dick than he was. Thankfully she isn't taking this nonsense any more- I just spoke to her and he's sleeping at the hotel tonight. Good. Hopefully that will teach him a lesson.

Anonymouse73's picture

I agree that some college students...well, you wonder why they're there...on the other hand, I wouldn't want to paint them all with too broad of a brush. The college students I know personally (and not older ones like you and I, Mudturtle. :)) aren't like that. They're actually pretty bright and thoughtful.

Unemployed bum...who's to say they're not working? Who's to say they *aren't* writing to their gov't officials, etc.? 75% of the protestors in NY ARE employed. And someone should never have to be a topless dancer just to get through college. That's the sort of thing they're protesting about, actually.

I am a college student, but not a college "kid" (grad student in January-WOOT!!!). I completely get what Jintess is saying. The courses I'm taking this semester are full of fucking lazy, entitled, rich kids who are living off their parent's dollar and acting like they own the world. Thursday morning one of these douches actually ranted to the class about the Penn State affairs that "all those men should be left alone (coaches). They're old. Let them live their lives." This is also the same kid who said that the Native Americans should have been "happy with what the government offered them" after they systematically murdered them and stole their land.
---------------------------
I totally get what you are saying. I live in between 2 major universities in Michigan, and those kinds of kids are everywhere. I work with them, I serve them at work. I have been yelled at by them for not going to protests. But while they are protesting, I'm working for my meager $7.40/hour wage so I can keep a roof over my head. They bitch about student loans, when I needed money for college I became a topless dancer for 2 years because my dad refused to cosign on any student loans. He told me that us kids needed to learn about working and saving. I'm so thankful for that because my husband and I can stretch minimum wage like no one else. I have no problem with being angry over being a have-not instead of a have. But at the end of the day what are us have-nots doing to change our situations? Are you smoking weed and sleeping in a tent somewhere or are you writing your congressman? Are you going to just complain or are you going to complain while voting in all elections(big and small)? Are you going to protest along with unions, or are you going to ask unions what measures they are taking to prevent greed and corruption from taking them over? What are the college kids doing to ensure that their universities are still schools and not giant corporations? You aren't paying for education anymore. You are taking loans out to pay for logos, stadiums, boosters, etc.

He is a worthless piece of shit. He doesn't want her to find her confidence, because that'll make her more attractive to other men who want more than just huge tits in a woman. As far as I'm concerned, this is her CUE to leave him. He should just fuck off.

Ponchiks, maybe this op will be a turning point for her and she begin anew, in a way. If she can endure the pain that she has, and save for SEVEN YEARS for a surgery, then if he leaves, she will surely be able to handle that pain.

Well, Ponchiks...if your bro-in-law says his wife's tits are the only reason he's staying with her--"if you get a reduction then I won't have any reason to stay with you anymore"--never mind the KIDS she bore for his sorry carcass and is raising, or the for-richer-or-poorer, sickness-and-health thing!--then she's better off without him. Indeed, tits are the only reason to stay?!? Then maybe the fucker should have left a loooong time ago.

She should have her boob reduction so her back isn't killing her 24/7...and then she can get an additional boob REMOVAL (aka divorcing his worthless ass).

Sorry, stuff like that just pisses me off. And I know so many women who would actually LET a man tell them what to do with their bodies/health, even when they're in misery. Just because you're married to a person doesn't mean you own them.

WTF kind of spouse would do that? Dear God.

ponchicks...they are actually doing stuff, not just lying around and/or holding signs. There's wireless available just about everywhere...they are doing a lot of stuff online, etc. Keep in mind, this is a very new movement. You're not going to see outcomes right away.

Arlene...I think the people who protested against the Viet Nam war would disagree with you. Protesting puts pressure on those in power to man up.
And 75% of them HAVE jobs. I think you've been watching too much Faux News if you think all they're doing out there is sitting around doing drugs. A lot of them are actually OLD people. I'm sure grandma is not out there shooting up.
Haven't heard about the piss story and so can't say anything about its veracity, but EVERY group has bad apples. They can't control that. They also can't control anyone infiltrating the group and doing shit to try to discredit them. For the most part, it is a peaceful protest and as people have commented elsewhere, the one near Wall Street, at least, is the CLEANEST area of the city. They have a cleaning crew, etc. It's actually very organized (esp. in such a short period of time!)&, though the media LOOKS for people who seem like assholes to interview (this has been witnessed), the majority of the people there are bright, articulate, and not complete wackjobs.

Hekki> Agreed! Totally a douche!

Off topic (well sort of on topic as it's about a douchebag) but I really need to vent. So, my sister, she's been saving money for a breast reduction for the past 7 years, as that's been her dreams ever since she got them. She's really happy and all, got the date booked and everything, told her husband when it will take place, and what does he do? He announces that if she has that surgery that he will leave her as then there will be no reason for him to be with her. What a fucking ass!!!!!! She's been having problems with her back for years, her breasts are massive, she's only 5" tall- gets tired easily from carrying them around, has really nasty back problems, couldn't breastfeed her baby because of it, and he says that?! Who fucking does that? What sort of an asshole do you have to be do do such a thing? UGH! I'm just mad like hell. Rant over.

It's all bullshit.
I don't take college kids seriously but I do appreciate the intent.
Look at the facts, we are outsourcing jobs willy nilly to other countries yet crucifying 'illegals' who come here and are willing to WORK.
How many people do you know that are currently unemployed yet highly qualified?
I know plenty. They lost their jobs due to outsourcing, not due to someone who came here willing to do jobs they wouldn't even consider to apply for.
I don't know what the solution is, I just don't think it's a bad idea to bring it to the attention of those dirt bags sitting in office who don't need to worry about their dental coverage.
Rattle the cage, if you will.

Sure, let your vote do the talking. But its things like this that affect HOW people vote. It makes them aware. Nothing wrong with that.

I have nothing against free speech, I'm all for it. I am just confused by it at the moment- if they want to bring attention to the bankers and their money grabbing, why not actually do stuff whilst there? I have to admit, I don't know what is going on on Wall Street, but from what I've seen in London, all the protesters seem to be doing is sit there in their tents with the signs- they aren't holding any speeches or anything. They just appear to be living in front of the Cathedral. That is why I don't quite understand what it is that they are trying to achieve.
