As the Duggars prepare to enlist their 20th baby soldier, St. Angie Jo and Brad Pitt shuffled their boutique-sized child army through Tokyo's Haneda International Airport today. They're all there to boost the Japanese economy by buying toys and art supplies every single day while Brad does the promotion thing for that Moneyball movie. FYI: Brad is the big one wearing all black who looks like a living interpretive art piece of Jessica Biel wearing her beard.
Besides Cheer for Darks laundry detergent, the most used item in the Brangelina household is obviously a skinny comb for side parting their hair. A family that side parts together, stays together, I guess. Zahara and Maddox are the true vanguards here since they refuse to surrender to the side part. When they're all in front of the communional bathroom mirror, Maddox probably declares all of them sheep by "baaaahing" at them when they side part their hair as he cuts his bangs with scissors and a protractor.

Caitrin, I agree with every word you said. Adults who say mean and hurtful things about children? That tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about that person. That's all. They show themselves to be who they really are.

They have an African, an Asian and Caucasians all in that group. I don't know at what age you can tell children they're adopted, but they will find out sooner or later if strangers don't point it out to them first. Hell, if these kids have any semblance of common sense they'd probably have figured it out years ago.

Firstly, the children have all been made aware that some of them are adopted and some came along biologically. The 2 older boys, Pax at least, were old enough at the time to probably remember being adopted.
Secondly, looking similar does not a family make. My children have the same 2 biological parents and look absolutely nothing like each other (one is white blond, pale, blue eyed with freckles and the other has dark hair, dark eyes and brown skin). I hardly think they are going to have some kind of identity crisis and doubt their place in the family because of their appearance.
You would be surprised how culture matters very little to small children. My best friend in childhood was black and adopted by a white family. The thought that she was different had never crossed my mind until some one pointed it out when we were about 7. I just thought she had amazing squishy hair :)

Caitrin, I'm sorry you're so hurt. You make great points. I've never understood some of the kids being constantly called "Downsie looking" as if that's a great insult.
We all come here for a laugh and a snark but sometimes it's gets hurtful.
Some people here go on and on insulting kids for being "mouth-breathers" when I have one "mouth-breather" of my own. He may need surgery to stop this but he'd suffocate to death if he kept his mouth closed all the time.
So I'd rather a "mouth-breather" (in 4th grade level at the age of 7 and yes, I hate that I feel like I have to throw that out there) than one in surgery before his time. Every time I hear all this "mouth-breather" shit I have to clamp my mouth shut. Maybe I should say something too.
Anyway, I hope you stick around, as you said, the vast majority here are fantastic, clever and witty people who are genuinely good folks but the few (as always) can make it hard.

Though I couldn't care less, personally, about these two adults, I do find some of the more hate filled comments to be almost comically absurd.(Angie's supposed chronic heroin addiction, and her attempt at "turning Shiloh into a lesbian" are especially riduclous, to me, the latter being actually offensive, as well. And the conviction that these children are raised exclusively and perpetuially by their nannies, with no interaction between parents and children except for in photos, is just plain stupid, as are many of the "theories" or "facts"expressed by the more fanatic of Angelina haters on this site.) But it is NOT amusing to me---ever or anywhere--to see children being put down by adults, in any manner. What kind of an adult--what kind of human being-- *bullies* and degrades little children, to their faces or through the relative safety of the Internet? Who on earth could find such a thing remotely appropriate or fair, much less appealing? And the most prevalent rumor about the twins here seems to revolve around their supposed mental retardation, a paticularily loathsome and low blow. I was always of the opinion that Angie would get bored with parenting and leave the kids to Brad. She seems like an addict who is really passionate about something for a while then moves on. But it looks like the charity work and family life may have actually fulfilled her and changed her as a person. Kudos to her if that is correct. There is hope that people can change.
