Number 1, both pretty hawt... Number 2, Gomez was on the first season of "The Contender" (anyone...? :::crickets:::) and he was not EVEN CLOSE to being as sexay as he is now. Watching boxing being one of the few unmitigated pleasures left to my elderly, married, sober, body, I have seen alvarez fight before.
He is young, but fights with the discipline and skill of a more experienced fighter, and is 100% class in the way he handles himself.
In any case, he won that fight with a TKO in 6th round. I have been to weigh ins in person, and I believe this sort of stare-down is pre-arranged by management for publicity purposes. While there may be some en closette boxers, normally after a fight, these guys get blotto at a local bar and indulge in as much in and out with the skankiest hoes on earth as is humanly possible. (I know some boxers).
