You're so right, from Athens, none of the politicians here in Denmark care about the people. It's the same all over. We're 4 days into the election process for prime minister/parliament members and it's already feeling nasty. At least it will be over with in 2½ weeks but yuck. When the EU was first touted, I felt that it really only benefitted international corporations and bureaucracy, but was being sold to the people via propaganda by those same vested interests.
