Tina Fey On Tracy Morgan's Rant
Alec Baldwin has already responded to Tracy Morgan's fire-breathing sermon against gays with a Tweet shrug and now Tina Fey and the head of NBC issued their own statements since some people were wondering What Would Liz Lemon Do?
The head of NBC said that he was happy Tracy apologized and that they don't agree with hate or violence towards anybody (except Conan O'Brien). Since the NBC peacock is as gay as the NBC peacock, he went on to say that both the network and 30 Rock accept everybody (except Conan O'Brien) so Tracy's comments were against what they believe in.
As for Tina, she put it like this:
“I’m glad to hear that Tracy apologized for his comments. Stand-up comics may have the right to ‘work out’ their material in its ugliest and rawest form in front of an audience, but the violent imagery of Tracy’s rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT Community. It also doesn’t line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person.I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian coworkers at 30 Rock, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket. The other producers and I pride ourselves on 30 Rock being a diverse, safe, and fair workplace.”
Tina Fey should know that one of my shittiest ex-boyfriends slept 12 hours a day and always sat on the side of the table that faced the giant mirror in the dining room at Mimi's Cafe, so sleepy selfish dick bags can be hateful too. But what I'm getting from Tina's statement is that on the next season of 30 Rock, Tracy Jordan will become color blind which will lead him to only wearing rainbow colored clothing. Then Tracy Jordan's son Tracy Jr. will come out to him at around the same time he develops a Tourettes-like tick that forces him to stab his daddy in the knee with a rusty shank repeatedly throughout the day. Either that or she's saying that bitch better get right or he'll be lucky if he gets a job as Mel Gibson's understudy at the Westboro Baptist Dinner Theater.
And I just realized that typing "dining room at Mimi's cafe" was ridiculous. Like that shit was some fine dining.

Fishsticks, I do not have access to the fucking forum. I had a pip_cheerio account that I used a few times there and then I changed my password to something impossible to remember and deleted my email account that also coincided with it so that I could never go back to the forum because I didn't fit in there and some of the inside lingo just weirded me out. I'm glad I miss whatever drama goes on there because there's enough of it here for me to last a damned lifetime.

When MK bans (very rarely), he bans the IP. It happened to a few (I think) innocent people here, some who still post and some who've left. At times, the banning seemed well deserved: a poster who always caused shit, made harsh threats, etc. At other times, it was surreally secretive, like unhappy neighbors turning someone in to the totalitarian state police.

NOOOOOOOO. Not true. The mods banned a user known as "LoLo" here and she was quite upset about it because he banned her I.P. from work and M.K. tried to help because people came here who were her friends and tried to explain to M.K. that she was sorry or something like that (to my recollection) and he suggested to her to use a proxy because he couldn't fix the I.P. ban. She didn't want to use a proxy so she gave up and never came back. A lot of people rallied behind her. I don't remember what she did to get banned though. I mean, you have to do something really whack to get banned here.

I don't think IP's are checked unless someone is sending death threats or something...(again I don't know much about computers). Technically a computer could be shared by several/many people so it wouldn't be "fair" to ban a bunch of "different" (same) people from one IP address.

ELB- David Milch who wrote Deadwood decided he would rather start a new series called John in Cincinnati, so he kept everyone in limbo on Deadwood while he wrote this new series for HBO. HBO decided that keeping Deadwood was very expensive while Milch was busy, so they decided to put it on hiatus, and then decided to have Milch do a Deadwood movie or two to wrap things up. Milch was so into this shitty John in Cincinnati show, he decided to put Deadwood to the side. By the time Milch wanted to get the Deadwood movies going, all the main actors had gone on to movie projects and/or new series work, so Deadwood died, and John in Cincinnati was an epic HBO fail and Milch went into a depression over his failure and his stupid decision to shelve Deadwood. I think John in Cincinnati lasted maybe 5-6 episodes and it was S-T-U-P-I-D!
I like Justified as well. Deadwood though, was awesome.
If Casey is a psychopath (most likely), it's genetic, and there was never much her parents could have done to change it, BUT, given her lifelong behavioral problems, they should have had the sense to have her examined by SOMEBODY who would be able to explain to them how truly depraved she was. Apparently none of her teachers saw her psychopathy, and her friends didn't recognize it for what it was. Her relatives might have, and were probably told by Cindy to STFU.
The creep factor is that there are two genes that determine whether or not a person is born a psychopath/sociopath, and one gene can come from each side of the family, so did George and Cindy each contribute a "psycho" gene, or is Cindy a full-on psychopath who gave Casey both genes? (I suspect Cindy is only a mere sociopath, with just one of the genes, and am unsure about George, although he *was* a cop.

I haven't watched the Casey Anthony trial; I've been getting all of my info on it from you guys, which is way more preferable to news programs and their bullcrap "experts." How long before we get tell-alls and interviews from the "Oh My God, I Partied with Casey Anthony" folks? Yuk.
