CZJ Has Checked Into A Mental Hospital
I went with this picture, because Catherine Zeta Jones could really use a Michael Douglas photobomb right about now. It is a known natural healer.
A rep for CZJ tells People that she suffers from bipolar disorder and made the decision to check into a mental hospital when the stress of dealing with her husband's illness was too much for her to handle on her own. The rep said this:
"After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder. She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films."
CZJ has definitely been through some shit from MD's cancer treatment to her stepson getting arrested for dealing with the bad shit to almost get knocked out by a pap (that's a stretch, I know), so it's a good thing she's decided to sit still for a minute before she rips off a baby squirrel's head with her bare teeth. Get better, CZJ, so you can get back to scaring us at the Tonys!

Many actors are bi-polar or have other mental issues. It comes with the territory. Acting in itself isn't exactly the most emotionally healthy profession. Marion Cotillard admitted to seeing a therapist shortly after wrapping La Vie en Rose. Noomi Rapace stated it was difficult to separate herself from Lisbeth Salander.
At any rate, I hope Catherine Zeta Jones gets well. She just needs a week or two of stabilization.
OK..kudos for CZJ for not feigning "exhaustion" and admitting bi-polar disorder. It's true, that syndrome/disorder is a bitch.
If not treated the person afflicted usually loses ALL of his/her friends. The friends are usually supportive for a while but the mood swings, often accompanied by paranoia and hypochondria, become too much and they stop calling. Therapy and medication are normally prescribed to help the person get back "on track".
P.S. I still hate those greenish dresses.

Also, I don't think it's exactly a positive thing to come out as bipolar. Regardless of how much it may be diagnosed or talked about, it's still an illness people hide.

When I was growing up, only a few people I had heard of were bi-polar and no-one had ADD, ADHD...Now I'm not saying no kids have disorders or allergies but it's getting a bit insane!
While I agree that most of it is just lazy diagnoses,
there is something to say for the fact that most young people in the Western world have been raised on processed shit for food, Coca cola for water, and all that emulsifier crap.
Terrible nutrition and shitty upbringing in front of the TV must play a part in the prevalence of ADHD in Western children, for instance, because these problems are very rare in under-developed countries where they have more important shit to worry about - like having NO Coca cola.
I wonder if they have a plastic surgeon at that "mental health center"......

I normally don't pay enough attention to clothes to have an opinion. But that pic of St Angie keeps popping up and her dress bugs me more and more every time I see it. The color reminds me of some antique chairs we had in our living room from the 1800s (not nice antiques, just old furniture we inherited from an old old distant cousin lady). And the dress looks like some dowdy society matron dress from the 1930's. This is what Miss Gulch would have worn to the premier of Wizard of oz.

I was told when I was 19 that I had it.. was on and off drugs for two years til they found what "worked" and stayed on that until last year (i'm 31) when a new doctor told me I was misdiagnosed and my first doctor was an idiot. I was just a teenager dealing with college. I. was. pissed!
