I might be completely and forever alone in this, but I happen to like the dress Kate Winslet wore to the NYC premiere of Mildred Pierce last night. It has polka dots, it’s giving off a nude mirage and it’s something Breathless Mahoney might wear to Brenda Starr’s daytime funeral. What’s not to love! Because of this, I am willing to ignore the fact that her face looks like a wet peach rolled in whole wheat flour. That’s what we call Step 1 fruit pie face.
