Anitra “The extra R is for Regal” Ford, one of the original Barker’s Beauties on The Price is Right, Cathy Lee Crosby’s co-star in the original Wonder Woman TV movie, Burt Reynold’s girlfriend in The Longest Yard and star of the lady prison B-movie masterpiece The Big Bird Cage.

And not only does Anitra have a luscious head of hair that will make any Cocker Spaniel dip its head in a bowl of mayo while cursing its genes, she also has this priceless sentence in her Wiki bio: “Anitra Ford garnered roles of emancipated women who were comfortable with their sexuality.”

Sadly, Anitra stepped out of the spotlight in the late 70s and now spends her time writing poetry and taking pictures in Southern California. And I’m sure she still does the “oooh aaaaah” hand dance over the front of the refrigerator before she opens it.
