Katy Perry’s Chichis Banned From Sesame Street

Sesame Street is basically a nudist camp for Muppets. Most of them run around the block in their nekkid suit. Bold hookers of the night even wear more than they do. But yet, Katy Perry shows up wearing an ensemble that even Noah Cyrus would describe as “nun-ish” and she gets banned!

The clip of the Judy Tenuta of pop (copyright: Rich Juzwiak) singing a toddler version of her song “Hot N’ Cold” with Elmo was supposed to run during a New Year’s episode of Sesame Street, but PBS has put a giant censored black box over it. Sesame Street hates chichis!

Apparently, after the clip made its way onto the internet several kids starting singing, “Chichi days…chasing the clothes away….on my way to wear the cleeea-vaaage iiiiiis”, so parents quickly filled up PBS’ complaint box. PBS has thrown the clip into Oscar the Grouch’s trash can abode. Yup, that’s why there was a “DO NOT DISTURB” sign in front of Oscar’s trash can last night (wink wink).
