The Queen Can Wait

A new book about President Obama claims that France’s First Lady Carla Bruni once told Michelle Obama that she kept a certain dignitary waiting while she buttered her husband’s baguette. Some seem to think the dignitary in question was Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen doesn’t step out unless her jewels are polished, so I’m sure she understood.

According to the book by Jonathan Alter, Carla asked Michelle if she and the President ever kept a ho waiting so that they could get their fuck on. Jonathan writes, “Bruni wanted to know if, like the Sarkozys, Michelle and the President had ever kept anyone waiting that way. Michelle laughed nervously and said no.”

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that afterwards when Carla bowed before the Queen, Lizzy said to her, “Darling, you’ve got a little curds and whey in your hair.”
