Not Wanted

SPOILER ALERT: Angie Jo’s character kicked the bucket at the end of Wanted after she got hit in the head with a Ring Around the Rosie bullet. So apparently, the director of the Wanted sequel is looking for a female lead to replace her and he’s got his fingers pointed at lip licker Kristen Stewart.

E!’s Marc Malkin is hearing that director Timur Bekmambetov wants Kristen Stewart to play a chick assassin opposite James McAvoy. Even though Angie’s character met her demise at the end of the movie, Timur still wants her to make a cameo in the sequel.

The source says that Kristen hasn’t officially been offered the lead, but she’s met with Timur at least once. Wanted 2 is supposed to begin production in August, but that’s probably not going to happen.

This looks, smells and sounds like a gigantic rumor, so it’s most likely just that. I mean, who in their right (or wrong, for that matter) mind would cast Kristen Stewart as an assassin? How is she going to kill the mark in one shot when she can’t stop blinking for one second to aim and focus? There’s nothing threatening about a mumbling assassin with thirsty eyes and a parched mouth. It’s going to completely ruin the moment when Kristen has to put her gun down in the middle of a shoot out to put Visine in her eyes and on her lips.
