May 1, 2009 / Posted by:

Here’s some sad news that came out of nowhere. Danny Gans, a Las Vegas legend, passed away early this morning at his home in Las Vegas. TMZ says Danny was discovered by his wife at around 3 this morning. A family member called for an ambulance and told the 911 operator that Danny was having trouble breathing. When they arrived, Danny had already died. He was only 57. Danny’s cause of death is unknown at this time.

If you’ve been to Las Vegas, then you most likely know Danny Gans. If you haven’t seen his show, then you’ve seen his ads everywhere around Vegas. Danny has been called “The Man of Many Voices,” because of his gift for performing musical impressions. Danny was headlining a show at the Encore Wynn at the time of his death. He was also in Bull Durham and played a Wayne Newton impersonator in an episode of Roseanne.

He is survived by his wife and their three children.
