I Should Have Known

When something is too good to be true, it’s usually too good to be true. My favorite new girl group, The McCain Girls, are fake! They are completely manufactured. The lies!

They were created by the website 23/6. The website wanted to make fun of the campaign-song phenomenon. They hired three chicks to sing pro-McCain lyrics to “It’s Raining Men.”

The website’s President told the NY Times, ““We were pretty amazed that after the video came out, people were confused as to whether or not it was real. hat’s when I think we said ‘Hey, can we actually pull off a hoax here? How long can we keep it going?’ ”

They made one more video after their first one. Why did they have to tell the truth? Keep lying to me. I need the music. A few of you even wrote to tell me that these bitches were fake, but I chose not to believe. Oh well. Looks like I’ll have to replace them in iTunes with my other favorite girl group, The Lubbock Babes from Just The Ten Of Us.

I should have known these sluts were fake when they released this video. Not very McCainey….
