Dr. Phil Backs Off

Dr. Phil was supposed to devote an entire episode to Britney Spears, but he has called it off. It was reported that Dr. Phil tried to get Britney and her family on his show to stage an intervention. Dr. Phil spoke to Entertainment Tonight and told them that shit was over.

He said, “Because the Spears situation is too intense at this time, and out of consideration to the family, I have made the decision not to move forward with the taping at this particular time. Britney and her family are in our prayers and we ask that they be in yours.

Uh…huh…more like he couldn’t get any of them on his show. He’s acting like he’s doing the honorable thing. Life & Style reports that Brit’s dad, Jamie Spears, told the entire Spears clan to keep away from Dr. Phil. A source said, “As soon as Jamie realized Dr. Phil was making public statements about Britney, including assessments of her condition, he got angry. He started making phone calls to everybody in the family, telling them not to cooperate with Dr. Phil.” Lynne Spears and Brian Spears were going to take part in Phil’s show, but they have pulled out.

That’s that and can we completely forget about that tool now? I’m so sick of seeing pictures of Dr. Phil. He looks like a little bobblehead and totally has the brains of one too.
