23 Months

Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in the clink for financing a dogfighting ring and helping to kill pit bulls that weren't good enough fighters.  Michael heard the news in a hearing this morning.

The Judge told him, "You need to apologize to the millions of young people who looked up to you." Michael could have faced up to 5 years in jail.

He still faces state dogfighting charges in Virginia.

Michael is also in financial ruin. His homes in Atlanta and Virginia have both been put on the market. He also had to pay over $900,000 for the care of 54 pit bulls that were taken from his home.

Financial ruin? Never play football again? 2 years in the clink? Is that enough? Not sure.
