This Isn’t Even Good On Paper

Last year, fans of the documentary "Grey Gardens" were horrified to learn that a feature film adaptation was in the works starring Drew Barrymore as Little Edie. Luckily, it never happened until now. HBO has announced they are going forward with the film keeping Drew and adding Jessica Lange as Big Edie.
The documentary was also turned into a critically-acclaimed Broadway musical last year.
Here we go again! Messing with things that shouldn't be messed with. However, if you're going to eff this up at least do it with people that can act. Drew Barrymore cannot handle her lisp AND Little Edie's New England accent at the same time. Trainwreck in the making!
And can Jessica Lange even show expression in her face anymore?!
