Every damn minute there's a new Britney Spears rumor or fact. Yesterday, I wrote at least 3 Britney posts and I honestly could have written 10. People love to gossip about this girl and they love to hear the gossip about her. Anyway, here's 3 new Britney tidbits:
1: Britney may perform at the MTV VMAs in September
The NYDN is claiming the rumor is true and that she is preparing to perform on the show on September 9th in Las Vegas. Her label is said to be worried that she might mess up. Personally, I want to see this. I haven't seen her perform in ages and I want to know if her lip-synching skills have improved. She used to be one of the best lip-synchers in the biz, so I want to know if she kept those skills intact.
2. Britney's former assistant is telling all to OK! Magazine
Shannon Funk only worked for B for a measely 3-weeks, but apparently there's enough juice there for an OK! interview. Shannon was spotted in NYC with the OK! staff.
3. Shannon Gets Subpoenaed
And add Shannon's name to the ever-growing list of people that are being forced to testify in the KFed/Brit custody battle. She was served at Long Beach Airport after arriving from NYC People reports.
4. To seal or not to seal
The divorce and custody papers of KFed and Brit are currently sealed and not available to the public and their lawyers want to keep it that way. However, People Magazine and other outlets will ask the court to make these documents public on September 14th. They feel these records should be made public since they are public figures. The custody hearing will take place on September 17th.
Whew! I need a drink. Don't get too comfy, I'm sure I missed a story and there will be 2500 more rumors and fact by noon!
