Kathy Hilton is the New White Oprah

Kathy Hilton and Barbara Walters had a conversation last night and Babs talked about it on "The View" this morning. Kathy basically said she hopes young girls will learn from her daughter's mistake. Babs thought Kathy's statement was strong and good.

"We can only hope that something positive will come from this. Hopefully, young people who look up to people like Paris can learn from this."

Learn from it?! She should've said "I hope nobody looks up to my daughter, because she's a piece of trash and nobody should be out drinking and driving."

Kathy also said not too long ago that Paris going to jail was not fair and not right. Now she's singing a different tune? If Kathy didn't let her daughter go out partying at the age 14 none of this would be happening.  I'm not blaming Kathy as a mom, but what's positive about this situation?

Paris had her chance to make it right. Only now that she's being severely punished, suddenly she's trying to turn things around. Too little too late!

Here's Paris on a bike, with some yogurt and some paint supplies yesterday. She's probably going to make her own "FREE PARIS" signs.
