Eddie Murphy was the favorite to win for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Dreamgirls.” It was a little bit of an upset when Alan Arkin won instead of Eddie. Shortly after, Eddie and his girlfriend, Tracey Emonds, left the theater and didn’t return. Eddie didn’t get to see Jennifer Hudson win for her role in “Dreamgirls.” Now Eddie could’ve left for many reasons! Like maybe he realized he really wants to be with Scary Spice and ran to be with her. Last night I felt so sad that Scary wasn’t there. Imagine the mess she would’ve worn. Source
