London Streets are a Little Safer

Pete Doherty has been banned for driving. Finally, this crackhead has received some sort of punishment for driving under the influence of crazy. In addition to a 2-month driving ban, he was ordered to pay around $1200 in fines. Big wow. The judge ordered him that he could lose his license if he drives without one again. Pete’s lawyer said, “Mr Doherty accepts that he was driving with no licence and insurance. He had left the task of getting an insurance policy in the hands on one of his managers, who hadn’t done so.” Two months and $1200? Oh well, I guess that’s better than nothing. Pete sort of owns the court, so I’m sure he’s gonna be a naughty boy again and they’ll just give him another slap on the wrist. Source
