Brit Brit is Not Hosting the Billboard Awards with Paris

It was announced yesterday that Britney Spears and Paris Hilton would co-host next week’s Billboard Music Awards together. The new BFFs were going to take their friendship to the world’s stage. Fortunately for us, this is not going to happen. Us Weekly reports that Britney has backed out and did not give a reason.

Yesterday, manager and lawyers for both Paris and Britney were meeting with Fox to discuss the details of their contract. At 5pm Britney quickly pulled out leaving Paris by herself. A source said, “We really don’t know the reason. But we’re disappointed she backed out.”

Fox will most likely replace Paris since she can hardly read cue cards and won’t be a good host. Has Britney finally listened to her fans and dumped that piece of trash? One can only hope!
